Subaru Nepal used to sponsor a blood donation campaign every 3-6 months at our showroom and often in conjunction with the Rotary club of Kantipur. In 2008, we were honoured with the Running shield from the Blood Bank and the Red Cross, for having the most people donate blood the most times among the private and corporate sector. In an effort to help those who require blood, we launched ‘Give Life, SMS for Blood’, with the Red Cross (Blood Bank). Under this initiative people can SMS ‘BLOOD’ to 33001, for donating and requesting blood. We continue to help those in need of blood in conjunction with the blood bank, and by sharing the requirement with our network and database of more than 1000 donors now. Furthermore, in order to raise awareness, and encourage people to donate blood, we have been dedicating one page to Blood related facts and articles in the MEDICOS NEXT Medical Magazine since 2020.
